Blogging for Beginners

When you're starting out in the blogging area, it can be overwhelming trying to gather all the pieces of information you need. I'm going to give you the full scoop here so that you can visit one site, and learn what you need quickly and easily.

There are tons of places you can start blogging. If you're looking for someone to host one for you, check out places like:

Blogger.com
Wordpress.com
Vox.com
LiveJournal.com
Xanga.com
MovableType.com

If you think you'll be doing this for awhile, I highly recommend buying a domain and downloading Wordpress.

Wordpress has two options...Wordpress.com which is where you can blog on their site, or Wordpress.org, which allows you to use their software on your site.

I have both Movable Type blogs, Blogger blogs and Wordpress blogs. By far, I love Wordpress blogs the best.

Paid Blogging, Making Money Online 

Are you looking for a way to earn a little extra income? You can get paid to blog with different blogging companies. I make money blogging, and you can too!

It offers a simple way to supplement your income. It's up to you to choose which companies you'd like to work with, and what you want to right about. When you've chosen something you'd like to write about after sorting through your choices, you simply submit your post to the company, and then cha-ching, you end up with some extra money.

Each company works a little differently, so you have to check out their terms of services and see which ones you'd like to work with. They also have different requirements for your blog, and how long the post you just wrote has to stay on your blog.
